MONSTERA DELICIOSA
Nicknamed the “swiss cheese plant”, the Monstera deliciosa is famous for its stunning broad green leaves with natural leaf- holes that occur as they mature. A vibrant green show-stopper, it will give any interior space instant jungle vibes.
GENERAL CARE
Sunlight : Monstera will thrive in bright to medium indirect light. No direct sun.
Watering : Allow 75% of her soil to dry before watering. Take her to the sink and water until it flows out the drainage hole.
Food : A general houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month during the spring and summer. Never apply fertilizer to dry soil. Always make sure the soil is damp before feeding your plant.
Planter : Monstera deliciosa arrives planted in our custom-blended soil in a 6" x 6"ceramic pot. Total height is approximately 24".
Fun Fact : The theory as to the purpose of the natural leaf-holes, called fenestrations (Latin for windows) is they maximize sun capture on the forest floor by increasing the spread of the leaf while decreasing the mass of leaf cells to support.
