Fun Facts
What's crazy about succulents? Living in Arizona, we should know this fun fact so we can bore our friends! Succulent plants stomata (pores or tiny openings) open only at night when the temperature has dropped. Since photosynthesis only happens with daylight, this intelligent plant will store its carbon dioxide that it absorbed at night to use during the day. It then releases oxygen at night, when the pores open again! Think of it as not only cleaning the air as proven by NASA, it's releasing oxygen while you sleep.
Note: plants may vary according to availability but we promise it will look as beautiful as pictured!
Care Instructions
Light : The party family thrives in brighter indirect light.
Water : Soil should be completely dry before watering. Water around each plant carefully and then check soil to make sure it's watered to the bottom, but not water-logged. Remember, these are succulents! Use the chopstick to check soil to the bottom of the planter.
Food : Fertilize "the fam" twice a year (spring and fall) with a succulent or general-purpose plant food. Never apply fertilizer to dry soil. Always make sure the soil is damp before feeding your plant.
Planter : The party family is delivered in our custom-blended soil with a layer of lava rock and horticultural charcoal to absorb water for the health of the roots. The fluted-metal container is lined with heavy plastic and measures 7.5" x 4".
