BROMELIAD MEDUSA IN CERAMIC POT
Beautiful centerpiece or hostess gift.
Medusa is one of the most unique (and hard to find!) bromeliads and will be a star attraction in any space she is placed. She has a mixture of red and green leaves that will produce a bloom bloom at the base. She grows pups at her base which in time you can cut off and plant in pots to have MORE of her beauty.
General Care
Water: A bromeliad is more likely to die from over-watering than under-watering. While her roots enjoy a moist environment, they can't remain soggy which will cause root or crown rot. Let 75% of soil dry out before watering. Distilled/filtered water only, including misting.
NOTE: do not fill the middle cup with water as is recommended by many and here is why: we do not live in a humid environment where the water in the middle cup will evaporate but will instead cause rot/overwatering.
Sunlight: bright indirect light.
Food : Use a general houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month during the spring and summer. Never apply fertilizer to dry soil. Always make sure the soil is damp before feeding your plant.
Planter : Medusa arrives potted in our custom-blended soil in a white ceramic pot with a drainage
NOTE: ceramic pot is white but may vary in style
